"I sometimes was gifted with this sight of my neighbor across the way, while I worked at my desk. The architecture of Italy, and Europe on whole, admits one distilled peeks into the personal lives of others which they were willing to show. I miss and yearn for this now, when neighborhood felt more personal and we were allowed to gently imagine each other."
