Baiocchi focuses on three areas of research, experimental therapeutics of lymphoma, epigenetics of B cell transformation and viral oncogenesis and immune surveillance of lymphoma. His research involves experimental therapeutics of mantle cell lymphoma and HIV/EBV associated malignancies.​​​​
